PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was awarded the electrical balance of plant (EBoP) contract at Tievenameenta windfarm and associated substation. The windfarm produces 34.5MW of electricity.

Kirby was responsible for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of a 33kV substation (33kV GIS switchgear), and connected windfarm including a 33kV radial system including unit substations.

• Access Control, Intruder and CCTV
• Voice and Data Distribution
• Lightning Protection

Installed plant items included 1 number AC distribution board, 1 number DC distribution board, 4 number control and protection panels, 1 number battery systems and 15 number unit sub transformers.
