Jimmy is Group Executive Chairman with responsibility for ensuring that the board is effective in its task of formulating and implementing the company's direction and strategy. He also leads projects for key customers. Jimmy has been awarded a Master of Business Degree from University College Cork and a Master of Science Degree from Dublin Institute of Technology.
Mark is Group Managing Director with overall responsibility for the performance of the company through the formulation and implementation of strategy and continuously building an effective executive management team. Mark has previously held positions in project and contracts management, as well as his most recent roles as Managing Director of the UK Business and Group Operations Director, where he was responsible for company operations across all business units and regions.

Derry is responsible for the company’s financial management through ensuring adequate systems, controls and risk management procedures are in place. He also has responsibility for support services relating to human resources, administration and information technology. Derry is a qualified accountant and has been awarded a diploma in Strategic HR from U.C.C. He has held his current position since 2010, having previously been Group Financial Controller.
Group Finance Director and Company Secretary
Ray is the Group QEHS Director with Board level responsibility for all EHS and Quality activities across the company. Working closely with the other directors, in-house departments and QEHS professionals within Kirby, he is centrally involved in directing the company to achieving world-class QEHS practices. Ray has been with Kirby since 1994 and has previously held positions in Contract Management and Operations within the Group.Prior to this, he spent 10 years in the United States as a Senior Project Engineer on multi-million dollar projects in the Municipal and Industrial sectors.

Conor is responsible for the development and implementation of Group Commercial Strategy. Aligned to the overall Company, he endeavours to execute commercial undertakings in a processed and controlled manner, through the Functional Teams, to support Operations which includes but not limited to Customer, Contract, Risk, Cost and Change Control Management. Conor has been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Law and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying

Aidan J Kerins
Aidan has overall responsibility for business development activities and driving sales across Ireland, UK and Mainland Europe. Working closely with the Group Managing Director, he is heavily involved in developing company’s strategic direction and ensuring business development team’s full alignment. Aidan has been awarded an MBA from the University of Edinburgh as well as having a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and BSc in Industrial Engineering.

Henry is Group Operations Director with overall responsibility for operations across all business units and regions. Working closely with the Group Managing Director, Henry is centrally involved in the direction of company operations to achieve client satisfaction and overall team performance. He focuses on understanding our clients’ needs and creating sustainable partnerships, which lead to successful project delivery in terms of safety, quality, budget and timeline. Henry has extensive engineering and project management experience across different sectors including Life Sciences, Data Centres and Industrial Manufacturing.
Group Operations Director
John is an Engineering Director responsible for the overall engineering function within the business, ensuring that the project milestones are achieved and client expectations are met. He has extensive experience in the construction industry and has worked across different sectors including Medical Technology, Life Sciences and Data Centres. John has been awarded a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
Fergus is an Associate Director and Group Head of Human Resources. Fergus ensures that Kirby has the talent, coordination mechanisms, competence and engagement levels to effectively execute company strategy. Fergus has over 20 years’ experience as a thought and practice leader in Strategic Human Resource Management. He has held the roles of Director IMI, Head of the School of Business and Humanities at the National College of Ireland and Teaching Fellow, Trinity College Dublin. Fergus has also been lead consultant in delivering major strategic change and organisational design, engagement and executive development for many leading national and international organisations.
Associate Director – Group Head of Human Resources
Donal is an Associate Director responsible for company’s financial reporting and corporate services. He works closely with the Group Finance Director to ensure that adequate systems, controls and risk management practices are implemented throughout the company. Donal has been awarded a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Higher Diploma in Computer Science from UCC and a Diploma in Management from the Irish Management Institute.
Associate Director – Finance & Corporate Services
Sean is an Associate Director responsible for Pre-Construction activities within the group. Sean is responsible for the management of the estimation team to produce cost plans, generation of non-commercial requirements through bid stage, post-tender liaison meetings with clients and managing stakeholders. Sean has extensive experience in the M&E sector. Prior to the appointment he previously worked in a number of senior roles within the industry. Sean holds a PG Dip in Project Management and PG Dip in Leadership.
Associate Director – Group Head Pre-Construction
Mikey is an Associate Director / Business Unit Leader with responsibility for operations in the Connacht region. He plays a lead role in the successful delivery of projects and has been centrally involved in key projects in the region particularly in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors. He has extensive engineering and project management experience across different sectors including Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing and Data Centres. He applies this knowledge and expertise to assigned projects to ensure operational excellence, client expectations are met and all project milestones are achieved.
Associate Director – Business Unit Leader – Operations Connacht
Hugh is an Associate Director with responsibility for operations in the Munster region in Ireland and Mainland Europe. He plays a key role in the successful delivery of projects across his assigned regions. He oversees projects from planning right through to handover and applies his extensive engineering and project management expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, to the highest standard, on schedule and within budget. Hugh has over 20 years’ experience in delivering projects across different sectors including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Chemical, Semi-Conductor, Power Generation and Industrial Manufacturing.

Giedre is an Associate Director responsible for strategy development, strategic performance management and supporting Group’s Managing Director and other senior executives in solving strategic business challenges. Giedre is also responsible for the development and implementation of Group’s Marketing Strategy, ensuring that the strategic direction of the company is fully aligned with the marketing tactics. Her professional background and academic qualifications, which include MSc Strategy & Innovation, BSs Finance & IT and other numerous accreditations, bring a range of expertise and support to the Senior Management Team and the business.

Ruairi is an Associate Director with responsibility for operations. He plays a lead role in the successful delivery of projects. He oversees projects from planning right through to handover and applies his extensive project management experience to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard, safely, on schedule and within budget exceeding client expectations. Ruairi has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and has managed some of the largest and most complex engineering projects across different sectors including Data Centres, Industrial Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Semi-Conductor, and Power Generation for Kirby.
Associate Director – Operations
Sean has a strong background in technology and construction. He has a proven record of delivery through project and commercial management across multiple sectors, including major national energy infrastructure projects. Since joining Kirby in 2016, Sean has been working across the group to support operations in areas such as contracts, risk, cost and change control management. Sean is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland and the IET. He was awarded a Diploma in Controls and Electrical Engineering by Dublin Institute of Technology, an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering by Trinity College Dublin, and a Masters in Engineering Management from University College Dublin.
