PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was appointed to complete the mechanical and electrical installation of a new 36MW data centre build in Sweden for a leading cloud computing provider. The project comprised of five colos, an administration building and a water treatment plant. Kirby utilised cutting edge digitalised engineering on the project. The project was co-ordinated and modelled through BIM. Brackets used on the project were pre-fabricated off-site.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Kirby scope of works included the installation and commissioning of all mechanical and electrical services.

• Soils & Wastes
• Domestic Water Services

Installed equipment and plant items included Generators, AHU, UPS, PDU, TX, E Houses, Switchgear, PNL, DBs, Em Lighting Panels, ATS, Busbar & Tap Offs, Fire Alarm Panels, Lights, BAS Panels, Dampers and Fans. The total project meterage consisted of 1.5km of busbar, 60km of cable, 11km of containment, 2.5km of pipework and 3,000m² of ductwork.
