PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was appointed to complete the mechanical and electrical scope of works for phase 1 of the new data centre facility.
Large scale off-site fabrication was utilised on this project which ensured the project was delivered on schedule and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Installed equipment and plant items include LV & MV Switchgear, 4,000A Busbar System, Humidifiers, M-Houses, AHU’s, RO Unit, Leak Detection, Trace Heating, Pressurisation Units, Chillers, Generators, E-Pods, CRAHs, Transformer’s, Marshalling Panels.
The total project meterage consisted of 60,000m of cable, 50,000m of containment, 2,840 of pipework, 1,400m2 of ductwork and 300 no. of instruments and loops.
