PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was appointed as the electrical contractor for the Townsend Street commercial development in Dublin City Centre.

The 22,000m² multi-use development is made up of 3 nr. 8 storey hotel blocks and 1 nr. 7 storey apartment block. The development features a Travelodge Hotel, Staycity Aparthotel, residential block for Dublin City Council and retail and restaurant space on the ground floor.

BIM and pre-fabrication of brackets and risers were utilised on this project.

Kirby scope of works included the installation and commissioning of electrical services.

The total project meterage consisted of 460,000m of cable and 40,000m of containment.
