PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Kirby was responsible for the upgrade of the mechanical and electrical services at the office development. The building consists of 10,000m2 over 4 levels with works completed on a live campus. The project was fully coordinated using BIM LOD500. A collaborative approach between Kirby and the design team eradicated any delays and gave the architect an understanding on how the electrical and mechanical services could be integrated.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Kirby scope of works included the electrical and mechanical services.

• Low Temperature Hot Water
• Smoke & Heat Exhaust Ventilation
• Supply & Extract Ventilation Distribution
• DWS
• VRF Air Conditioning
• Leak Detection
• BMS
• Server Room Air Conditioning
• Soils & Waste
• Domestic Water Services

Installed equipment and plant items included new distribution boards, new VRF units and condensers, AHU.
The total project meterage consisted of 2km of pipework, 4,888m² of ductwork.
