PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Kirby was responsible for the mechanical installation of a new 6.5MW data centre facility in Dublin.
Works completed on the 12,000m² project included installation of CHW primary equipment, air conditioning and ventilation systems and associated plant. All CHW pipework and bracketry was completed off-site optimising project delivery and efficiency.
SCOPE OF WORK
Kirby scope of works included the installation of mechanical services.
The mechanical systems installed by Kirby included:

- Supply & Extract Ventilation Distribution
- VRF Air Conditioning
- Leak Detection
- Server Room Air Conditioning
- Rain Water Harvesting
- Low Temperature Hot Water

Installed equipment and plant items included Chillers, Dry Aircoolers, AHU, Fan Wall Units, CRAH, CHW Primary Pumps, Booster Pumps, PRU, DGU, AC plant, Extract Fans and Buffer Vessels.
The total project meterage consisted of 8,000m of pipework and 4,000m² of ductwork.
